Q. Why collect from HOMN? 
A. We believe in artists and work hard to support the careers of all the artists we work with. Each piece is carefully curated by HOMN and the artist and is exclusively showcased here at HOMN. You will not find this art anywhere else. When you purchase art from HOMN, you are supporting the artist directly. Learn more about what we do here.

 

Q. When will my new artwork arrive?
A. Though we cannot guarantee specific shipment dates until an order has been placed, works typically ship within 5 - 7 business days.
As soon your piece has shipped out, you will receive a tracking number. You can always reach out to us with any questions by emailing dennis@welcomehomn.com If you would like to expedite your order or shipping please contact us.
 
Please note, signature is required upon delivery of artwork.

 

Q. How much does shipping cost?

A. Shipping rates are calculated by the size of the package, and shipped via FedEx or UPS. We are based in Vermont and also offer a pickup option. Please feel free to reach out to dennis@welcomehomn.com for any specific shipping and handling questions. 

 
 
Q. Can I change my shipping address?
A. No. We are unable to redirect orders once they have been dispatched. Once marked as "delivered" by carrier tracking, we are not responsible for the package. Please ensure the correct address is entered at time of order.

 

Q. Does HOMN ship internationally?
A. Yes. We are happy to ship artwork globally.  To allow us to best serve you, please complete the shipping form upon checkout and try to be as detailed as possible, including a phone or mobile contact number is always helpful for international orders. There will be an additional shipping fee added to your order depending on the size of your piece(s) and where you ​would like your artwork shipped. For any additional questions please email us at dennis@welcomehomn.com.

 

Q. International taxes & duties:
A. Please note that once your order arrives in the country of destination, local guidelines apply and your order may be subject to import taxes and local duties. These taxes and duties are not included in your purchase price and are the responsibility of the customer. However, if applicable, we will support with any communication of information with customs as necessary.

 

Q. Do you ship to PO boxes?
A. No. We are unable to ship to PO boxes for liability and insurance reasons. Please provide your full daytime delivery address as well as a contact phone number to ensure smooth delivery. 

 
 
Q. My package is lost, what should I do?
A. If your package is lost in transit, please e-mail us right away at dennis@welcomehomn.com and we will try our best to resolve the issue. If the item has not been marked delivered and hasn't arrived within 30 days, we will replace your order free of charge (US only). For international orders, please contact the delivery service for information on how to file a claim as we are unable to replace lost packages from international orders. Please note that HOMN is not responsible for lost or stolen items once declared 'Delivered' by the delivery service.

 

Q. What is your return policy?
A. We are dedicated to providing our collectors with accurate descriptions and visuals of the artwork featured on our site. However, if you are displeased with your acquisition please email us at dennis@welcomehomn.com. We’ll gladly offer you a store credit within 10 days of receipt of the artwork.

 

Q. How do I know that the artwork is authentic?
A. We ship each artwork with a Certificate of Authenticity, which is signed by the founder of HOMN, to guarantee you are collecting an authentic work of art. The certificate includes the title, dimension, materials, and all details of the artwork as well as edition series information.  As a collector, it will be important to hold onto your certificate as it will help with the future value of the work adding provenance and context around your acquisition of the piece.

 

Q. What is an original work?
A. An original work is a completely unique piece of artwork. Mediums typically include: oil, acrylic, watercolor, etching, or pencil. If there is an original work that you love that is no longer available for sale, please email dennis@welcomehomn.com and we can discuss a potential commission for a new original work with the artist on your behalf.

 

Q. What is a limited edition?
A. A limited edition is a fixed number of identical prints. The artist sets the edition size. Unfortunately, when an edition is sold out, it is no longer available. A limited edition print has more value than an open edition or open run print because the availability and scarcity of each work is controlled.

 

Q. What is an open edition print?
A. Open edition prints may be endlessly reproduced. An open edition print is often priced lower and valued lower than a limited edition print because there is an unlimited amount of availability.

 

Q. What is a screen print?
A. Screen printing is a technique where mesh is used to force ink or paint onto a surface through a prepared screen of fine material, creating a picture or pattern.  Screen prints can often be seen on paper, textiles, and t-shirts.

 

Q. Can HOMN arrange studio visits for collectors?
A. Yes. HOMN’s mission is to connect our artists with collectors interested in their work. If there is a HOMN artist whose work you would like to see in person, please write us at dennis@welcomehomn.com and we will gladly schedule a visit.

 

Q. If I love an artist's new work, can I get a piece in a special size or can I commission a new work?
A. Yes. For special sizing and commissions, please reach out to dennis@welcomehomn.com and we’d be happy to discuss a special size or potential commission for a new original work with the artist on your behalf.  HOMN will provide the artist creative guidance and will be sure that you are satisfied with the work produced. We’ll also facilitate any production, payment processing, and shipping requirements.

 

Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
A. HOMN currently accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.  HOMN also accepts payments made through PayPal.
